There are a lot of websites that you will find on how to keep the Sabbath Day Holy. According to the scriptures in the bible however, this is how you should keep the Sabbath Day holy:

Jeremiah 17:21 (MSG) -- This is God's Message. Be careful, if you care about your lives, not to desecrate the Sabbath by turning it into just another workday, lugging stuff here and there. Don't use the Sabbath to do business as usual. Keep the Sabbath day holy, as I commanded your ancestors. They never did it, as you know. They paid no attention to what I said and went about their own business, refusing to be guided or instructed by me.

Do not go on with your usual business on the Sabbath Day. It is a day of rest as the Lord took the seventh day off for His day of rest.

Genesis 2:2-3 (MSG) -- By the seventh day
                               God had finished his work.
                                   On the seventh day
he rested from all his work.
                          God blessed the seventh day.
He made it a Holy Day
Because on that day he rested from his work,
all the creating God had done.

This is the story of how it all started,
of Heaven and Earth when they were created.

Do not prepare food on the Sabbath; prepare food the day before Sabbath.

Mark 15:42 (21st Century King James Version) -- And now when the evening had come, because it was the Preparation (that is, the day before the Sabbath)

Take Sabbath from evening (start) to evening (finish).

Lev. 23:32 (MSG) -- It is a Sabbath of complete and total rest, a fast day. Observe your Sabbath from the evening of the ninth day of the month until the following evening."
